Freshman Emerging Leaders Program
The Freshman Emerging Leaders Program (FELP) is aimed towards developing the skills of freshman who have exhibited leadership potential in their residential units or various organizations across campus. The goal of this seminar is to create networks between first-year students and Northwestern administrators, build a strong understanding of the Northwestern community, and provide the tools to further a first-years leadership journey.

Women in Leadership
The primary purpose of Women In Leadership is to educate people about different women's issues. In the past, we have held seminars with topics ranging from women in the workforce to eating disorders. We have also given out awards to women who have demonstrated outstanding leadership and contributions to campus.

Student Organization Symposium
Student Organization Symposium (SOS) can help your organization stay afloat by giving helpful tips for motivating members, sharpening leadership skills, and increasing membership. Our guest speakers help individuals to develop their own leadership style and set obtainable goals for both their organization and their members. The end result? Students and staff will become more aware or the significance of being a leader and the responsibilities that they share with each of their members.

Leadership Advisory Board Retreat
The Associate Student Government sponsors the Leadership Advisory Board (LAB) for all ASG-recognized student group presidents and treasurer. IT is held each Spring Quarter after student groups have held their elections. During LAB, student group leaders meet with ASG executive board members and university administrators to discuss potential improvements with their student group as well as review policed procedures of ASG and the university. The central goal of LAB is for student groups to develop ties with each other, which will lead to potential co-sponsorships of events and stronger on-campus programming for students.

Greek Emerging Leaders
A class is held each fall for fraternity and sorority newer members, who have been identified as future leaders within their chapter and the Northwestern community. Students have the opportunity to learn about themselves and their leadership styles through a curriculum focusing on understanding and developing their emotional intelligence. In addition to group sessions, they participate in a community service project and make connections with other rising leaders. Up to two nominated members from each chapter can take part in the class.
