Cashier's Office Attendant
Starting Wage: $8.00 (Work-Study REQUIRED)
Shifts Available: Mornings, Afternoons / Recommended 6-10 hrs/wk
Responsible for the daily operations of the Cashier's Office. This position requires good communication and customer service skills. The Cashier's Office Attendant responds to inquiries, maintains the area, trains in cash handling, and audits and reconciles deposits and tickets.
Job Function: Cashier’s Office Attendants respond directly to the Cashier’s Office Student Supervisor and the Cashier’s Office Supervisor. Attendants are responsible for creating and breaking down Norris area and student group event cash bags, accepting student group deposits, reconciling student group deposits, and selling daily parking permits and stamps. Attendants are expected to attend all required and some optional trainings.
Minimum Skills: Cash handling experience necessary; Detail-oriented and experience with cash control; Maintain an organized area; Good written, verbal, and customer skills

Facilities Assistant
Starting Wage: $8.25 (Work-Study REQUIRED)
Shifts Available: Mornings, Afternoons / Recommended 5-15 hrs/wk
Performs duties related to the maintenance and upkeep of the Norris University Center.
Job Function: Job duties include: hanging pictures and other items, small repairs like tightening screws, patching walls and small painting projects, replacing damaged casters on carts, cutting boards to the required size, maintain cleanliness of the facilities work shop, periodically take out trash and sweep the floor, replace the spent light bulbs throughout the building, repair bulletin boards and hang up the banners if necessary, replace damaged ceiling tiles, repair office furniture if required and repair carpet. Move heavy items from one location to other. Follows safety procedures. Performs other assigned duties.

Graphic Artist
Starting Wage: $8.25 (Work-Study REQUIRED)
Shifts Available: Mornings, Afternoons / Recommended 8-12 hrs/wk
Responsible for the development of creative and effective integrated marketing campaigns for various areas in the Norris University Center. Utilizing skills using the latest graphic design software, graphic artists create visually stimulating designs that reach target audiences and ensure successful promotions and events at the Norris University Center.
Job Function: The Graphic Artist reports to the Marketing Manager and the Marketing Student Supervisor. This position is an active team member who contributes to the area’s development through timely and professional completion of projects using creative means to effectively market the Norris Center to the NU community. Graphic Artists must participate in regular meetings and brainstorming sessions to create various integrated marketing communication campaigns. The Graphic Artist is responsible for communicating with other marketing department employees regarding ideas for projects, status of projects and communicating with the Norris employees and departments who request the services of this department. The Graphic Artist must interact, show proofs, provide feedback, and ensure the requester receives all copies of the approved final projects upon completion.
Minimum Skills: Fine attention to detail, professionalism, dependability, and communication skills; Exceptional decision making skills; Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (CS4 preferred); Experience with Web Design/HTML/DreamWeaver preferred; Experience with Adobe Flash a plus; Knowledge of marketing concepts a plus
