LGBT Center DVDs/Videos

The LGBT Resource Center is proud to announce a multimedia video library as our newest addition to the Center. As part of this undertaking, we would like feedback and resource suggests for the newest addition to our library. As always, we appreciate any feedback and resource suggestions for our entire library collection. Thank you!

Borrowing Policy:

• Normal staffing hours for the LGBT Resource Center are Monday-Friday 12:00PM - 4:30PM and for the Center for Student Involvement are Monday-Thursday 8:30AM-7:00PM and Friday from 8:30AM-5:00PM.
• The Video Library is available during normal staffing hours for the LGBT Resource Center (Norris 3rd Floor, Office L) and normal business hours for the Center for Student Involvement (Norris 3rd Floor, Suite 3H).
• Request your item to be borrowed from a staff member of the LGBT Resource Center or the Center for Student Involvement.
• Only one item from the LGBT Resource Center Video Library may be taken out per borrower at any given time.
• Fill out the Video Library rental form in its entirety, including the credit card information.
• Retain the borrower copy of the Video Library rental form for your records and return the lender copy portion to a staff member in the LGBT Resource Center or the Center for Student Involvement.
• All information will remain strictly confidential and will be destroyed upon the return of the item.
• The video is for private home viewing ONLY! No public viewing is allowed.

Return Policy:

• The item is due back on the due date noted on the Video Library rental form. Most items will be for one week. Renewal is possible once video is returned.
• The LGBT Resource Center may, but is NOT obligated to, send a reminder 24 hours prior to due date.
• All items must be returned to a staff member of the LGBT Resource Center (Norris 3rd Floor, Office L) or a staff member of the Center for Student Involvement (Norris 3rd Floor, Suite 3H).
• Normal staffing hours for the LGBT Resource Center are Monday-Friday 12:00PM - 4:30PM and for the Center for Student Involvement are Monday-Thursday 8:30AM-7:00PM and Friday from 8:30AM-5:00PM.
• There will be absolutely NO AFTER HOURS RETURNS.
• Late items are subject to a $20.00 replacement fee once the due date has elapsed.
• NO charges will be made to the credit card without due notice.

If you would like to suggest a book, magazine, movie, documentary or publication for the Center please send an e-mail to lgbtcenter@northwestern.edu .

Include the following information:

• Resource Suggestion (in the subject heading)
• Title
• Author
• Year of publication/release
• Brief Description of the work or publication

Donations
New literature, magazine and book donations are always welcome. We accept all brochures and information packets as well as new or gently used books and magazines.
