Programs

BI-PLUS: Every Wednesday; 8 p.m.; LGBT Resource Center
Bi Plus is a program designed to provide support and foster discussion about what being attracted to more than one gender entails. We aim to create a safe space for the B's in LGBT where we can be ourselves and express our sexualities, gender, and feelings without judgment.

FALL FRIDAY DROP-IN: October 31 & November 21; 12-2 p.m.
The LGBT Resource Center Lunch Drop-In is an weekly invitation to students, staff, faculty, and visitors to come in and join the Resource Center staff for a treat lunch in the LGBT Resource Center.

Home-cooked Conversations
Homecooked Conversations is a program where a staff or faculty member of Northwestern University opens their homes to undergraduate students. As students help prepare a home-cooked meal with the host, they get to know their experience as an LGBT or Allied individual and their role within the Northwestern Community. For a few hours, students are able to get away from campus, avoid the dining halls, forget the books, and get to know their host and each other through this community building program. There will be a faculty dinner instead of Homecooked Conversations in Fall 2009, and the dates of the program for Winter and Spring 2010 will be announced.

F.L.A.M.E. Program
(Frosh learning and mingling experiences)
New Student Week Fall Quarter 2008

This is a quarter long orientation and social networking program series designed specifically with First Year LGBT and Allied students in mind. The program includes free of cost campus activities, subsidized Chicagoland OUTings, and orientation/introduction to campus resources and student services.
